The Mittani has certainly made the CSM7 quite the drama already. The forums are blowing up, and his Apology thread is almost at 150 pages. Most of it are Goons flaming anyone who attempts to voice their opinion, which is pretty typical of Goonswarm (see Lady Harlot for some of the "best" in the thread). But a lot of the posts are starting to sound like a personal grudge match.
The TL;DR of it all is that what The Mittani said was:
For a Goon: Understandable, if horrible, and usually expected.
For the Chair of the CSM: Unacceptable, and punishable (by removal from office).
No matter how you feel about Goonswarm, this is not about them. CCP has already stated in many places that what Goonswarm does is perfectly OK, and even went as far as calling them the "best players in EVE" during FanFest. Personally, I think that was too far for CCP, and will not end well for New Eden or Goonswarm (think about hubris, before you leap for the sun Icarus...).
